I've told this story somewhere here before. A former colleague of mine was an officer on the "marine section" on the Thames Valley Police bit of said Thames. On summer evenings making their way back to the moorings they would check the security of some of the boats moored at known people's Riverside gaffs. One said boat belonged to Yuri when he lived in Sonning. My mate jumped onto the boat and found it insecure so he checked inside and all was fine. However he felt the need to bend every piece of cutlery in the drawers before securing the boat and leaving. CSB no?
