  • United airlines online check in - fucking useless piece of shite system.
    Absolute fucking shower of wank!!!

  • The BBC seeming to brand every summer every year ‘the summer of sport’.

  • That society thinks corrupt politicians are inept. They’re not; they’re conniving and amoral, and they’re fucking rocking it, making serious bank plus outlandish benefits with no real metrics or oversight. Working people think they’re inept because they’re measuring them with the same ruler they’ve been measured their whole lives, but it doesn’t apply to high-level politicians.

If a politician doesn’t know about an issue that they should know backwards, it’s very likely they just don’t give a fuck, let’s stop cutting them slack.

  • This!
    Blows my mind everytime…

  • or this

  • There are few things that make me want to exit the planet more than seeing these people pushing their fucking dogs around.

  • You get some crazies doing it but more often than not it's for humans and/or dog mobility reasons.

    https://www.baxterboo.com/fun/a.cfm/whats-pointdog-stroller

  • Yeah, there's a lady near me who takes her rescued pug with mobility issues out in a full on pram. The pug seems to love it!

  • I agree, the inconsistent approach to jean hem length/turn-ups is unforgivable.

  • I used to work with a fantastic woman who had been a nun, then realised she was a lesbian and left to become a fisheries inspector then decided to become a theological professor.

She was talking about this becuase one of her dogs was old and had hip dysplasia i.e. its hips popped out its sockets randomly when walking which caused a lot of pain.

Her and her partner couldnt leave the 1st dog when taking the 2nd dog out becuase the dogs were siblings and hated to be parted. So they bought a second hand buggy to push the 1st dog round when walking the 2nd.

    She said
"I know what people think when they see us in the neighbourhood, they think we're a pair of daft old lesbians who have lost their minds and are pretending that our dog is a baby. But, we dont care what they think as we just want our family to be together."

She was a very cool person.

  • nah, not having that!
I'm not a dog person, so I've already got a bias against them anyway, but dog and person in that photo don't tick any of those boxes. And that blog can get in the fucking sea!
Dogs aren't people, dog owners need to stop anthropomorphizing them.

  • My dog's going to be pissed off when he reads this.

  • dog owners need to stop anthropomorphizing them

Ours enjoyed her birthday cake last week.

  • a fantastic woman who had been a nun, then realised she was a lesbian and left to become a fisheries inspector then decided to become a theological professor.

I mean, who hasn't done this at least once?

  • as much as I appreciate the conversation, (i don't really, just being polite, people treating dogs like people can get fucked) there's no need to @ me with your "my dog is part of my family" stories/comments. I care not.

  • Bit weird to say you hate something that you don't care about!

To be fair, I somewhat agree with you. Treating a dog like a dog helps with their discipline and training too. But hey, whatever makes people happy.

Also, you don't know what health issues the lady in that photo has.

  • I care not for the comments.

  • Also, you should get a dog.

  • dog > baby

  • I don’t have a dog but my brother does. She looks really cute in her sailor outfit. Will @ you a photo when I dig one out.

  • She does sound very cool. But one cool person does not account for the horde of Kardashian-esque wankers dressing their perfectly able bodied dogs up and wheeling them around in prams.

Edit: this phenomenon is everywhere in the US, though rarely see it at home in the UK in fairness.

  • this phenomenon is everywhere in the US, though rarely see it at home in the UK

Given time it will float across the Atlantic.

  • Re: dogs in prams. In Shanghai I see this every day, in fact more than 9/10 times that I see a pram, there's a dog in it not a baby.
Dogs wearing clothes, I also see this every day.
I told a shanghainese friend that dogs in the UK don't wear shoes and she looked at me like I come from a nation of animal abusers.

  • How should you treat a dog? Please elaborate?

Dogs have been socialised with humans for thousands of years and there is a symbiotic relationship. Many dog owners treat there animals better than other people treat their children. I am interested as to what you consider to be appropriate or inappropriate behaviour.

If you look at the hierarchy of basic needs which ones would you deny to a dog?
