I actually thought the silver headset tied the room together nicely. Matches silver top on the seat post

Frame arrived today. Colour is "Onyx", something between black and green.

Oversized it is. It's huge: 35 mm or abouts.

I'd thought about carbon forks but I don't think they'll look right. Or at least they won't look as nice as the steel ones do

I'm thinking about going down the MGOOF route with my old Ciocc frame and am torn between Campagnolo (I've an old square taper Veloce chainset in very good nick and a couple of not bad cassettes) and Shimano (on an Italian frame? Is that sacrilege?) because it's already sporting some nice 105 brake calipers.

Campag will cost me a stack more, won't it? Whereas I should be able to pick up 10-year-old 105 or even Ultegra stuff for not that much, right?

What would you do?

Have most of a 10 speed Campa Chorus/Record in the attic (including a set of Shamal Ultra, tubulars tho), think I will put that on it.
