I think the principles they expressed earlier in the season prevent them from making the tough decisions required to fight for the win. Now it's probably too late with the 80 point deficit and Merc seemingly back in the game.
Still, the season has been wild so far, so who knows what will happen after the break.

This season has just been such a horrible self-own by Ferrari. It’s painful to watch tbh. They have a fantastic performing (and looking) car, two world class drivers and all the money in the world and they’ve conspired to utterly fuck the whole thing up at almost every decision point. Appalling cock up.
