Though in all honesty, he was only signed on until the end of this season right? There's only so long Alpine can have Piastri on ice before he gets cold feet so to speak. Don't think it was an Alonso decision to leave Alpine.
I'd bet on this. Aston have taken a solid top-of-the-midfield team and brought them right to the back.
