I don't know. In this clip she says in English that the others will be able to train as much as her when they're older https://www.eurosport.co.uk/cycling/tour-de-france-femmes/2022/annemiek-van-vleuten-made-her-move-after-six-days-waiting-and-surviving-at-tour-de-france-femmes_vid1724422/video.shtml
In this clip Adam Blythe says he can't understand why she's so much better than the rest. But Dani Christmas says women athletes' endurance gets better as they get older https://www.eurosport.co.uk/cycling/tour-de-france-femmes/2022/theyd-break-annemiek-van-vleuten-training-regime-beyond-rest-of-peloton_vid1724400/video.shtml
Pretty sure she was referring to the others in the TdFF. And Demi Vollering thought so too. Or hoped so. Obvs 10% is double 5%, so I would think she used that big margin to include other riders, not just her. She wouldn't use that margin to describe just herself, because she probably knows a very precise number for her own annual increase.
Isn't there any general info about this kind of thing? Any training experts here who could chip in?
