  • Ok I was being facetious before but let's make it simple. She was talking in the 2nd person. If you say something like "I've been training for a lot of years and every year you get a bit better", the "you" is referring to yourself. In her statement there may have been implications that the same process can work for other people but I'm pretty sure she wasn't saying "every pro cyclist male and female can do 5-10% more hours training hours every year" because that's a very broad statement.
