Said he stopped at the 33rd pharmacy looking for compeed blister bandaids, rolling again but unsure for how much longer.

Hard for me to tell but is Strasser starting to close the gap to the front of the race?

Strong ride by Marin de Saint-Exupéry; CP1 32, CP2 12 and now 6th/7th position.

So does Ulrich have to go up to Brod in order to head south to the start of the parlours?

It certainly looks like he will.

They'll be able to wave to each other from opposite sides of the valley

Good pacing of his effort!

Couldn't see much on Adam Bialek: German, 37(?), doesn't use social media, won 3 peaks in 2021 5th in 2020, won race through Poland 2021, won Austrian extreme bike race 2021. These races were all just under a week in length.

Doesn’t use social media is already my 2022 fav rider!

There's something about the long-ass Instagram caption of the rider on an 'ultra' who needs to call out all 5 bike, nutrition, kit, bag and shoe sponsors and dial up the drama and suffering of being on a long bike ride x100 that slowly eats away at me.

I get the sharing of the approach for new people who might want to try it, but Christ some of them make it look miserable. It's also fun, eh.

Looks like the route coming from north is much faster, Pawel also gained some positions and UB lost loads backtracking north
