My recent spending has gotten out of control so I need to recoup whatever I can. I’m currently in minus for a rather large amount so unfortunately I can’t afford to be as charitable with prices as I’d like to be.
Normally my hoardings stay like new and if used they’re normally used once or twice.
Here we have three rim brake road clincher wheel sets, I will put a pic up but happy to send detailed pics to anyone who’s interested. Located in New Cross SE14. Prefer not to post, can deliver in the car depending on location. Viewings welcome. All nice straight and true with good bearings.
Zipp 302 rim brake wheels. Great wheels as an entry into carbon. Rims have been destickered for the more stealth vibe. These have done about 1000km if memory serves. Included are 1 ride old genuine zipp pads for shimano carriers. Great profile to these rims, nice and wide. Come with Zipp QRs and 11s shimano/sram freehub. These retailed at £1300 and were on sale at £959 so how’s £700. Tyres can be bargained for if wanted (gp5000 25c new)
Shimano Dura Ace wheels 9100 c60 these were sold individually and retail at £1644 for the pair. You can now find them on sale for around £999 but not available so how’s £800? Condition is one ride old with a mark here or there from storage. Tubeless compatible and has a lovely 11s shimano/sram titanium freehub body. Comes with the matching DA QRs which are one of the best designed out there. Can include the truing tools and a spare axle and bearings for the asking price. Axle and bearings was over £100.
Chris King R45 winter wheels. These were built up to be hardcore ‘do it all’ winter wheels but never went on a bike. Tubeless compatible DT Swiss RR511 rims were £80 each, Sapim CX rays were £200 (have some spares too) and then there’s the cost of a pair of CK hubs, I know. These retail at £1032 without the cost of the labour and I know that’s outrag eous for winter wheels but hey. I have the choice of campy or shimano/sram 10s freehub. I do have an 11s shimano/sram but I have plans for it although if needed it can be bargained for. How’s £700.
Please don’t hang me out to dry if the prices are off, it’s difficult to gauge sometimes and I’m a sensible guy so if I’ve clearly got it wrong I’m happy to concede.
