  • If I was staring from scratch I’d probably get smaller steam oven and separate convection that goes up to 300c. Two ovens seems excessive though.

  • You are not very golf club. We have two steam ovens (one of which also has sous vide function)

    Two ovens means I can be baking bread while cooking something else, or roasting potatoes while reverse searing steak. If we have guests and are doing a big meal both ovens are generally in use, possibly with the thermomix going and a water bath too.

  • My oven has an internal camera so I can watch the sous vide (do nothing) from the east wing drawing room.

  • All of this,

    3 in our house (well 4 if you count the microwave in the interests of balance)

    2 ovens with Steam functionality & 1 pure Steam Oven.

    Meat is cooked in 1 with the temp probe, potato’s in the other and the veg in the steam oven. Means the hob is left clear and the island is covered in snacks when we have people round.
