At a glance it's pretty decent, they've clearly put some thought into it - mudguard mounts, rack mounts, 50mm tyre clearance, specc'd with Gatorskins (a useful urban tyre).
Your Fuji feather may be half the price but this has a carbon fork, 1x11 (without a tiny MTB chainring) and hydros too.
For what it's worth, I've used road.cc reviews as a bigger picture and I don't think they're useless - they've been pretty harsh in reviews before. The review for the Goldhawk is in depth and thought out IMO.
Why not give them a call and go for a test ride - they offer it in the contact form section?

@sea-level has one

Indeed I do have one. It's featured quite prominently on Brighton Bike Tag, here on LFGSS.
E.g. https://www.lfgss.com/comments/16571243/
I love it, and ride it around town one week, and ride fixed the next. It's a keeper.
Having said that, I have pimped it quite a bit over the years. The wheels, tyres, handlebar, seatpost, front chainring, cassette, saddle have all been updated. And of course, that has taken money.
For me, the red frame sold it. The components as fitted are okay but not amazing, and I have updated/upgraded as and when I have felt the need. You may be able to find better deals / value out there, but I for one am very happy with my Goldhawk.

Jeff at Goldhawk is a really nice guy, and I'm sure you can arrange for a test ride if you call.

Well, I didn't need much convincing, thanks for the input I'm going to go and see one in person and hopefully do a test ride.

Ok, so road.cc has its uses.
I'm just used to motorcycle "journalism" where the magazines and sites are pure sponsored content.

I totally get what you're saying!
Hope the ride goes well and post back here if you get one 👍

I read it as Goldhawk Roadworks and came here to offer some detour options...

Two things I just remembered...
1) I personally found the Gatorskins combined with the disc brakes of the Goldhawk to be a bit skiddy. But that may have changed, and your mileage may vary. I currently run Durano DDs, which are better for me.
2) The front chainring is (or was) a narrow-wide that I believe Jeff had machined for him by "First" or "First Group" (?) This was fine until it wore out and had to be replaced by my local shop in Brighton (excessive riding over the years on my part). The replacement wasn't a proper narrow-wide, and on occasion the chain could come off. It wasn't until I plunked down for a 1x Shimano GRX groupset that the whole situation resolved itself very nicely, and gave me better gearing (read: easier!) than I'd had before.
A couple of gotchas, and nothing that puts you off I hope.

My Goldhawk on day one...
I quite like the look of these bikes. But are they overpriced at £1495? I don't really know enough about bike components to judge, but I do know that it has a frame made from Reynolds 520 steel which is the same steel as my Fuji feather which is half the price. There's frustratingly not a lot of discussion about this bike online. They got a good review from that road.cc website but I have a feeling that those reviews aren't worth the bandwidth they take to load.
