Clarence from Subtle Couriers might be on here?

If anyone has tried this btw let me know if it's good! -
it's a great idea and yeah high speed blender does it. only addition is a bit of salt. i usually only mildly blend a cup and put those to one side to be added later to make it crunchy. then do about 3 or 4 cups til buttery smooth. mixing it all in together. i have messed about adding chilli, tahini and other stuff in small batches. but basically just keep it simple and can add any additions based on end use.
often roast tray of peanuts when oven already on for other use. so saves energy ther too.
we got a 25kg bag of raw peanuts from Locavore two years ago and I am only now ready to get next order in. we bulk buy a load of stuff - rice, olive oil, tinned tomatoes, etc. big economy to be had and massively cuts down on packaging.
now and again I will treat myself to some gourmet PB or other nut butters when at a particular shop I want to support.
Who makes their own here, and where do you bulk buy peanuts from? Is it as easy as blend peanuts until pb forms is there more to it?
I can see this starting as a money saving/quality improving exercise and end up escalating into an expensive nut/seed habit. Someone tell me it's still a good idea!
