I find it interesting to see people bring up articles/research/memes from years ago in threads on here and I am left wondering do people on here collect links for future use or simply lean on Google (or other search engines) to bring up content they've stumbled across in the past?
I've been using Pinboard since about 2010 and find it a great way for cataloguing content with about 20,000 pieces of content added with tags for subject, author, publication, year...but then I do have a library qualification which probably leaves me naturally inclined to engage in such activities. I'd probably describe it as an inefficient use of my time but I guess I collect content like other people collect stamps.
