That descent looked sketchy as. Like they were gonna resurface it but ran out of time.
WVA looked like he'd been down a mine. Good race.
Did I mention I'll be in Paris to get Covid directly off a pro? Don't want no pleb Covid.

There's a rumour Bernal might ride. I'd have thought Ethan Hayter would definitely be on the Ineos roster. Doubt Magnus Sheffield will, Ineos tend not to select neo-pros to ride GTs in their first year at this level.

Pog, Hindley, Carapaz, Nibbles....
Cyclingstage has quite a comprehensive list. -

Didn't realise until the end of GCN thing but Tdf Femmes start in Paris, presumably before the blokes arrive.

Gary Imlach on Bjarne Riis was pretty full on. GCN would never.

Gary Imlach on Bjarne Riis was pretty full on.
synopsis? I dont ITV. Hatch kept saying 2nd win for Denmark but only mentioned Bjarne once.

They started the show with footage of Riis winning on Hautaucam so acknowledging it was a stage knodding towards Denmark then Gary went straight in with”this was won with the highest red blood cell count ever recorded” and I think he closed the show with “and a Danish winner who didn’t shame the sport” or words to that effect.

Was hoping there were clips on Twitter but Gary Imlach has zero traction

Sad. He is the best pundit/presenter in any of the coverage imvho.

Plus another and itv have a good blend of pundits.
JV sitting up after Pog crashed not only very sporting but a stroke of genius. Pog couldn’t then attack again on the descent so it removed almost all the risk of crashing out for JV for the stage. Similar to Wiggo when he won. His nearest rival was crash magnet Port who punctured at the top of a climb with a treacherous descent (Wiggo of course awful at descending). As yellow jersey wearer and ‘peloton patron’ Wiggo neutralised the descent while waiting for Port to get a change of wheel and catch up. The descent was basically the last risk for Wiggo before Paris. -

Quickstep clearly not learning from Movistar and racing for the team lanterne rouge
Has any rider ever worn the yellow jersey and won the lanterne rouge in the same tour?
