Chain stay is 465mm, front chain ring is 34 and rear is an 11-42, ive got a xtr rear mech… is 114 links right?
There's a formula for that, which does indeed give 114 pitches as the correct length

Two questions from me today for the hive mind - converting my cargo bike to 11spd
Chain length. Chain stay is 465mm, front chain ring is 34 and rear is an 11-42, ive got a xtr rear mech… is 114 links right?
Second one is the bike has dropouts but currently has an axle on the rear wheel, I do have the kit on the way for the hub but is there any reason not to use a quick release?
