I've only got 4 of the speed champions but they're great.

The front light build for the 512 blew my mind.

Yeah they do some really clever stuff. Some of the older ones are really good too, smaller and more intricate.
I 3D print stands for all mine, for full geek points I print the model number on the stand too...

Ha. I've ordered the discontinued 911 this week too and will definitely pick up the new DB5 when it comes out.

Concerned that I'm seriously considering the upcoming Knights Castle at £350 :S
