I think kemi badenoch and rishi sunak are interesting in the way upbringing and familial wealth change how you perceive, engage with and ultimately legislate for other black people who may not have that access. Kemi especially as she readily refutes the idea of systemic and institutional racism.
Glad she didn’t make it through, but sunak has the same issues and makes it difficult to understand why any black person should trust or believe what he says when so much of his upbringing/class/political leaning seems to invalidate his blackness/ethnicity.

I have really enjoyed the episodes so far. How ironic that the BBC should cover the loss of black comedy sitcoms and sketch comedy from other channels. When their own preferences for promoting black culture has been quite sporadic.
