I did say it’s the inside of a garage, but after making a big effort to get it painted I think he just wants the niggling bits less obvious (but also wants it to be a quick fix). I did explain that those kind of bits are always a pain to paint, and cleaning beforehand is the best strategy etc. but we are where we are, and the shortest route to the finish line is what we’re after!
