Firstly, no fall.
The rhshifter started not returning to the neutral position, but could be persuaded, whilst cycling.
It looked like the axle had lost its outer (oversized) retaining end as it was displaced from its locating hole.
Continuing to cycle, it then became clear that the inner side of the shell had cracked and sheared off.
Fortunately, the Ruislip branch of Hillingdon Triathletes had a spare 6700 rhshifter, which has been collected, but is yet to fitted due to a local rain shower. #imnotslvlss
