  • It’s my opinion that if someone is dangerously overweight for their own sake they should try and live a healthier life style.

    I read the other day that obesity costs the nhs over £6 billion a year.

  • There is also the society element.

    It's less if an issue in the Netherlands because of cheaper fruit n veg & cycling and walking infrastructure.

    Obesity is also linked to poverty in the UK.

    Of course it's far better if people try to have a healthy weight.

    Somebody like Boris Johnson can get healthy meals delivered & the best training but most of us have to put time & energy in cutting flab.

    It should be a wee bit easier perhaps?
