Cargo Bikes

Still not loving the front Schwalbe Pick Up, the rear is fine.

Having done the maths, it was cheaper to get a rear rack & child seat (Sub £50 used) than paying £1k+ to Douze to get the front bock that enable child carrying

Another one to add to the fleet. Riding it from London to Somerset next week. Well that's the plan anyway.

Borrowing 2 so will have 3 batteries in total. See how far that gets me

my one does about 35 miles lightly loaded on a full charge, and that battery is fairly new, good luck!

We tried Riese & Müller Load in both sizes last week at Kinetics in Glasgow. All the fam were impressed - MUCH nicer than Raleigh Stride and Urban Arrow. Kids liked the suspension for no bumps and motor got us up an strava 11% segment with medium effort https://www.strava.com/segments/1542456. Does not handle like a milk float. Spendy tho.

But I was doing 6kph.
I couldn't have gone slower without falling off. Nor much faster without risking the cargo.

Well done for trying. I thought it sounded a big ask.
