Sew part of an inner tube to them?

Buy cages.

Get some skateboard grip tape and stick it to the underside. Will probably destroy your shoes but the slipping would probably stop.

Sew some loop side Velcro to the inside of them.

I’ve got this otherwise great pinzat straps that are slippery on the underside due to the nylon seat belt material used.
Any suggestions of some sort of coating I could apply to make it rougher?
