Saw this lovely Ford Anglia today, my mums first car was one of these. Unreliable as fuck in her words.


This one however has been converted to EV. I chatted briefly to the owner, its now full electric and is running on some Nissan Leaf batteries.

They're solid little cars but I was able to write a dark blue one off with a Honda CD175, my body and that of my mate on the back. Twas the summer of 1978 and we were going to see The Zal Cleminson Band one evening at Langley College. We both had a lovely week in Wexham Park Hospital but I don't remember any of it.

That Hyundai 74 concept is excellent. So glad some car manufacturers are having fun. Maybe it's because Hyundai are still relatively young? Like teenagers of the car world. Also proof that the original giugiaro design language has stayed fresh 5 decades later.

The worry is by the time it gets to production it will look more like a Civic R GT.
