• I bought the frame not long ago and was planning on building it as a winter commuter but it is a bit too small for me.

Here are the ups and downs:
    Tange prestige tubing.
    54cm seat Tube C-T
    56cm top Tube
    Stack 547
    12cm headtube
    Stand-over- 79cm
    New Tange Headset.
    New Bombtrack bottom braket.
    New Bombtrack crankset
    J&L 40t chainring
    90mm stem
    Bontrager 42cm handlebars.
    Fabric Scoop saddle
    Old school Tange seatpost 27.2
Mavic Aksium wheelset with the stickers removed - in good condition, they have a few little scratches.
    700 x 40 VeeTyre front and rear.

The downside of this frame is that there is a bit of rust and under pain bubbling in a couple of place as you can see in the pictures. These are just aesthetic and they won't affect anything else.
    Pictures attached.

Reflective stickers can be removed, there are probably a few surface scratches underneath but no dents or other hidden blemishes.
    Looking for £250 + postage.
    Bike is located in Oxford.

  • I haven't cut the steerer as the new owner might need it higher than I would've had it, but happy to cut it if required.

  • Last call, will move to Ebabe if no one is interested. Happy with swaps as well.

  • What sort of thing would you be up for swapping with?

  • Hello!
Shimano hydraulic shifters with calipers(11 speed)
    Track frameset.
    Grx 1x crankset
    That's pretty much it.

  • is this still going and honestly how bad is the rust? it's a bit hard to gauge

  • Hello! Still going. Was planning on moving it to ebay so right in time.
The rust is just a tin surface layer, it didn't actually affect the steel just paint in places.

Someone with a bit of experience could clean an repaint that bit with no problem.

  • it's a gorgeous frame and a great price, but on reflection it's gonna be a little too long for the rider, she's 5'7 on a good day.

Surely someone else wants this? wire brush and a can of humbrol would sort it! have a bump on me

  • Hello!
My partner is 5'6" and she's been riding it for a while after I built it.
With a 80mm stem and an in-line seat post, but it fitted her fine.

  • thanks but I'm going to pass, it's not going to work for her and her preferred riding position. Shame as it is beautiful.. GLWS!
