Pidcock is likely one of the best descenders in the world. When you can handle a bike without fear you can just flow like others can't.

Was thinking about that crash from the baby giro (?) in the wet when he just massively overcooked that corner at a speed no one else would even consider. I think he’s just not scared

Some of the Mtb trails and jumps he rides in the off season would suggest he’s definitely not scared of coming off. I guess when you grow up on crits, Mtb, cross and jumps you get ok at bike handling!
