  • You forgot to lock it.

I did the same years ago, I was emptying the car after a Christmas trip to in-laws and with all my hands full I thought I'd lock the car from the kitchen window once I'd put all the bags down.

I forgot to lock it and someone stole 2 pairs of prescription glasses, my (5th gen!!) iPod, and the proprietary cable to go with the iPod (the most annoying bit).

I was certain that I locked it and the thief performed magic, but occam's razor and that.

Had a flashback about 3 months later that I dropped the bags in the kitchen then ran to the toilet because I was desperate for a shit and then forgot all about locking the car.

  • I wrote that but formatting wouldnā€™t allow it

  • of increasing or decreasing power if you fancied going on a spirited drive at the weekend.

Don't Tesla do something similar now with their range? I don't like the idea of it at all, but I suppose the other side is that you might be able to downgrade your car to an absolute dog when you know you're about to drive for a while in London and won't get above 20.

  • You can buy an ā€˜acceleration boostā€™ on certain models. It knocks about 0.5 seconds / 20% of the 0-60. Itā€™s Ā£1,500 šŸ˜¬

  • Seems that you can sell a tesla extras when you sell the car.

  • In bottom of the market news, sold my A2 which I thought I never would. Buyer in Aberdeen, delivered it today, 360miles, 60mpg, average speed 60mph. I'll leave you to round off the other nice bit. Glorious no hassle drive, missing it already.

  • Why sell it?

  • Why sell it?

Long story short, wife didn't like it "old car" and too many others. Swift, SC430 and campervan. Pluriel is on Auto trader but it's sold. Oh and neighbours..

  • I get the wife thing, thatā€™s happened to me too. Mate has one, loves it but heā€™s an Audi mechanic and seems to be able to get spares for his.

  • Which one was it? Am I'm still after one.

You selling the Pluriel too. You have some nice cars.

  • need a cheap 2nd car and am quite take with a Panda

A few days late but Iā€™ve got one, 1.2L engine MY -11 apparently (had to check) which I got as a cheap 2nd car. Has worked faultlessly.

  • Parking is rarely a problem šŸ˜‰

  • So the spacer seems to be spot on. Likely could have made it a couple mm more narrow. But the guys said the ā€thinkā€ it should work even with the current tire on there but were not making any promises as to if it would interfer when / if bottoms out. It may hit the ledge of the tire. But 2 guys riding the trunk did not make the tire come close but i could see it would be a close call if the wheel arch can idd come lower than the tire line.

Thats the good part the bad part is im leaning towards liking the original wheels more ;) it just look bit posh with these new wheels and i really like the not in your face look about this car which kinda evaporates with the new wheels

But ok at least now i know i can make both work ;)

  • Thanks, this is the gone one. Diesel 192000 miles

  • I had an a2 years ago. Loved it.

  • How fucking dare you not offer the A2 or the charlston Pluriel to us first :)

I do want an A2. Wnat to buy one with all the usual issues honestly described as I'm going to need to do the bits anyway.

Shit colour so I wouldn't have bought it ;) So that is my justification.

  • An brilliant audi, when mainly wankers bought Audis ;)

  • Shut the fuck up.

The new wheels look good, and give you a better choice of rubber. Behind the wheel is the important part.

  • I met the guy who ran the uk pluriel factory, he hated that car.

  • UK Pluriel factory?

  • Yeah, no idea what parts they made/fitted, they just had loads of them in the storage lot outside waiting to be shipped to dealers, I honestly can't remember but I think they made parts of the roof?

  • Hyundai N Vision 74 concept car.
    670bhp hydrogen/ EV hybrid RWD.

Hyundai are on a serious roll, I'd feel very silly if I were a major European manufacturer. They've also confirmed a performance version of the Ioniq 5, Ioniq 5 N, for 2023 production.

Also very in love with this and hope it progresses beyond concept stage.
