Case in point/words of warning to anyone else DIYing it.
Ridge on the left is where two bits of ply underneath butt up together - yours truly ignored the ‘you need to self-level screed ply’ instructions to avoid having a higher threshold.
Bumps on the right are due to me first putting down too much glue, umming and arring, and then pulling it up to scrape off the excess leaving some clumps of semi-dry glue that I missed when picking the big ones off.
Ultimately, IDGAF, it’s still functional akd I still like it very much which I guess is what it’s all about in the end!
