The spooky looks worse than that Vetta imo

Lol!

but i own this groupset now...
that is a rowdy build. inverted top tube is always a winner for HH -
• #80
I think it can look hip hop without looking like it was welded at arms length in a garden shed

I never realised my Standert was a faux HH frame set. I should treat it to a new groupo or at least a wash.

Didn't he have 1 downtube shifter for the fd...
-
• #88
Possibly though I think he had a few Vetta builds on the go...
-
• #89
And they said?
-
• #90
Oh yes sorry, they said no problem for round tubeset and similar geometry!
-
• #91
Do you mind me asking what they quoted for the frameset?

Vetta are €1500 with single colour f+f (Columbus Futura) and headset.
FTW are $1250 for frame only without paint. -

Thanks

Someone mentioned low but his custom bikes are $$$. However his “Low Key” bikes (not custom geo, not painted, not extra polishing/ sanding) are in your ball park if they are ever in stock. I’m not a huge fan of unpainted aluminum though so.

Vetta is where Racer Rosa's frames are made. I have two, one steel and one alloy.
Lead time is or was about 3 months for the frame .

Would definitely fancy a Low Key also... 15 month wait time at the moment I think but his frames are rad!

Why buy a custom bike? After all, there are a lot of cool bikes that initially look beautiful. Take for example the Schwinn company, they have a lot of cool aluminum bikes (as for me). Maybe I haven't reached the level of riding that you are, which is why I'm discounting the value of custom bikes.

Never discount the value of custom bots

It gets worse... the Schwinn at the link is recommended as "best for heavy users"...
The cheek of it.

Have I missed why you sold the absolute pinnacle of aluminium hydro forming and welding technology to replace it with these round tube basic bitches welded in a garage?
Also Vetta looks like the Pro-Lite made Bowman Palace
That's essentially exactly what I want. A weight weenie alloy race bike with hip hop pretensions...
