I would say £300-£500 (really good condition) is the average. The seatpost for the C40 can be a nightmare but you could just shim a 27.2 post. I was lucky to find a NOS pinerello 28mm carbon post for £90, colnago ones do go for crazy money. WR Composti still make them but still pretty expensive.

Well I've acquired an Extreme Power - a bit more than I wanted to spend but also a bit less "vintage" and able to accommodate normal parts - 1 1/8" steerer and 31.6 seatpost. I figured if I don't buy one now then I'll never do it. And as someone somewhere else pointed out, Colnago and rationale market costs dare not common bedfellows. Now quite excited....

Thanks! The Dream I missed was £300 but needed new headset. You don't seem to get much change from 8-900 on C40s from what I've seen, though I guess you need to factor in the availability of weird sized seatpins.
