  • sell one of them to me then...... like bloody hens teeth at the moment.

    That ST10000000, on 700c?

  • Intend on keeping them, sorry.
May be selling a '98 XR800 (56, 1", Viper red) soon I'm not warming up to.

    700c

Yes, not much of a difference in terms of brake alignment.
Clearances a bit more generous compared to the T700.

  • yeah, was a cheeky ask ;)

goosd to know on the t1000, following one of eBay at the moment, may pull the trigger.

but, the 98 xr800...... in the words of Terry Tibbs, talk to me...

  • 'Please check out photos, as I am selling this for my son and I know zilch about these death traps'

  • Well you kinda knew which way this was gna go

  • Does anyone know what the tyre clearance is like on a '99 (I think) caad 4 f1000 or similar? I've already got a 26" and will soon have a 27.5" and really want to build up a frankenbike 29er. I've seen a f1000 that I really like the look of bit not sure if it's even worth bothering with.

  • Limited. 26" Wheel you might squeeze a 2.35" in the back but 2.2" might be all it's got room for.

  • Ask that question on the vintage cannondale FB page...

  • I'll pass I think 😂 could do without being called a puppy killer tbh

  • Ta. Sounds like a no go then 🙁

  • Stupid question incoming. Cannondale c700, anybody got any info on them? Cant find anything on the web and seller doesnt know anything about it either. Like for instance, is it a 26" or 28" wheeled? And maybe what the tyre clearance are?

  • Picked this up today! Excited to get the fit sorted and get some miles done on it.

Also love the wheels but may look for spinergys for extra speed points!

  • Still my favorite colorway but i missed an immaculate one on the bay with shamals for €300 3 three years ago and nothing since

However, lil sneak peek on my two other favorite colorways (and framesets)

Again, thanks @gertrudestein for the lead on the blue one 👋🏻

  • C were the city bikes, usually 700c.

I had a C200, also hard to find in the catalogues.
from memory, very long top tube geometry

  • My fave colourway, loved mine.

  • I assume you’ve tried vintagecannondale.com ?

  • Ohhh nice! That would have been a steal!

My one has definitely been used, needs a good clean and polishing, but other then that mechanically it’s spot on which is good. Although am considering changing groupset maybe

Your two are lovely! What’s the plans for it?

I remember a similar blue frameset for sale on here a year or two ago and always regretted not buying.

  • Anyone selling a CAAD12 in size 54?
Buying for a friend of mine

  • Should I pull the trigger on a Road Warrior 1000 from 2001?

  • yes, depends on price, i was really happy with my hh warrior conversion

  • Build thread? around £200 ish which seems pretty good tbh

  • I've not done a build thread but will post again the result if i find a picture. I had paid just a tad over a hundred, yellow colour scheme.
I found enve forks for it and sold the combo on here. Edit : to @JonnyC ? Maybe he can share his current campag setup

  • Enve forks…..strong set up.

Thanks, this has the headshok and the maguras so I’ll take a look at it at least.
