I'd get it only because it has a proper headbadge.
Great frame at a ridiculous price

Not cheap but its not often that a Singular Peregrine comes up on ebay. I'd pick it up if it wasn't 10 sizes too small! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175341555942?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l1120&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=65ef7f0188b0419288bb2c48a2b17bff&bu=44189097233&ut=RU&osub=-1%7E1&crd=20220705044839&segname=11021

I don't know if this counts, and it's my first LFGSS post, but...
Was looking for a cheap aluminum frame on Gumtree, and came across this post
https://www.gumtree.com/p/bicycles/fixed-gear-bike-/1436660125
Thought "those pink strips and weord metal frame look a lot like @veganjoseph uber eats challenge bike", upon further inspection... it is!
Bit of a shame there are weeds growing through it, seems to have been neglected.
I would like to know what the frame is though, I'm assuming it's not the Dolan FXE he used with the paint stripped?
(Adding pics for archival sake.)

Hey
A bit late to the party. But how did those wheels from eBay work out?
Thinking of buying some and would appreciate some feedback.
Cheers

I reckon it's an old Dolan Track Champ
https://velospace.org/node/28597
If I remember right they had issues with the seat tube where an internal sleeve was needed for the seatpost and some frames were cracking, also those integrated seat clamps are prone for cracking. Honestly I'd avoid an alu frame with the paint stripped that's been left outside so long, especially with that type of seat clamp. -

One for the larger guys out there...

Good to know, thanks for your comment!
I wanted a nasty looking frame with nice parts, and this fit the bill, plus it's pretty historic, but I might just buy a nasty frame and new parts for it instead.

Not cheap, but a pretty fair BIN price for a quality Shand stooshie.
Edit, didn’t notice the ding.

Would be better if the dent was in focus, but very responsible, yes.

It is in Chester but this Claud butler touring bike is a great bike!

By no means an incredible build but the rear wheel would probably sell for £150 alone

hey gang, hope this is ok with this thread, but i had a pricing related question. this is my ebay listing - I've figured this to be a decent price for a ready to ride bike but it hasn't shifted so far? does the price point feel way off or is it just not the time to sell a bike right now?

^ that diabolical brickwork makes the perfect backdrop !
I can't see either of them being an economic repair project ;-)
Unless the mudguards go for a king's ransom....
Can’t see them shifting at that price!
