Saw this happen a few years ago on a Chinese carbon post. Never seen it happen before. Taught me a lesson to never buy any cheap carbon bits that would result in a horrendous failure.

I snapped a carbon post on my SSCX a few years back but getting too sendy...I did almost have a post up my bum.

It wasn’t quite as dramatic as it seems.
It cracked around the clamp area but was still attached, and it was fully split when removing it. -
