Couldn't agree more. All the more reason why companies pandering to the likes of boring old farts like me shouldn't go chasing the youth market. Know your customers.

I don't really like the patterns and I dont' have the money or the style to pull any of it off but I like that there is outside influence in the design and dare it be said inclusion of "fashion" into kit patterns and clothing. The design elements in the peloton are so thin and so marginal year on year that anything new is a goddamn relief. IMO the resistance to design elements of Rapha x Palace are more to do with older (mostly) men having a hard time confronting the fact that they can't be "cool" anymore and they can't buy their youth back.
