“Like a knife in the arse”
Australian is such a beautiful language.

ITV4 going for B-Boy breakbeats outro on the Week 1 highlight show and a bit of Bob James- Westchester Lady in the show

Inevitable really.

I wonder if today might be the day Ineos try and do something bold.
In some ways it seems far too early in the race but there are two high mountain stages coming next where it seems inevitable they’ll lose more time to Pogacar and Vingegaard.
They can’t just follow those two round for the next 10 stages and hope to get a rider on the podium.

Alpe d'Huez is going to be packed on Bastille Day, I assume. Does anyone have any tips on where to leave the camper and where to go, if we arrive tomorrow?

Dehydrate and pace them moto's man

Say what now?

Nudity is on the cards, but I'm bringing a nice lady, so might have to constrain myself

With bike?
-

Without, unfortunately, but we can hike quite a bit

Are Cav confirmed in HLN as leaving DQS. I hope he gets picked up by a supportive team and doesn't end up having to do gravel races for insta likes

I don’t think that would be the worst strategy. Pog and Vinnie could eventually blow. It’s gonna be a hot couple of weeks.

Am I mad to think MVDP could do something today after a fake-out quiet first week? Today's last climb is long but only a Cat 2 at 4.1% if I'm reading it right.

Luke Durbridge out with COVID, so someone else will be doing all the work to get Mike Matthews 5th place for the rest of the tour.

I think the winner will be from the break today. I think there’ll be a massive scrap to get up the road.
-
• #41220
Relying on your rivals blowing up is a risky ploy.
-
• #41221
Yep. But G is going well, they have a decent team, and pog and v will expend energy covering each others moves. Just saying it’s not the worst strategy.
-
• #41222
yep and they are unlikely to crack Pog by attacking him, that would just be burning matches. The fact Ineos had Castroviejo in the break on Sunday shows that a stage win is important to them as the overall win is unlikely IMO

Year I think it's sound. Some eurosport gobshite or other has mentioned that pog hates the heat, so it'll be interesting to see if that theory holds water and other teams can capitalise.
I know Carapaz isn't at the same level s as Pog to begin with, but attacking Pog didn't work for ineos last year

eurosport gobshite
Doesn’t narrow it down.

Lol, it was either Hatch or Kirby - I can never remember which is which. I don't really mind the rest of them.
