There were a lot of satisfying pop pop pops on the way up, went up to about 75psi. Rims (hunt 4 season gravel @gbj_tester ) are internal width so shouldn’t be an issue there, I don’t think.
Wasn’t a huge amount of sealant each time, first time definitely a v small amount, second time difficult to tell seemed a bit more but I was going fast and a bit worried about dying.
Will give them another inflate and see if I can see anything around the rim. Here was me thinking “hah, for once I have installed tubelezz without issues”.
Newly fitted 2nd hand g one all rounds. Went up pretty easy, lost a bit of air overnight, but seemed ok after a top up and a bit of spinning around. Took them out for a test ride. All fine up until about mile 15 when I was pootling along on the flat, on road, and the front tyre randomly burps sealant. I thought a bird had shat on me at first and then I clocked how pink it was. Didn’t think much of it, until around mile 25 when I’m going downhill - again, on flat, on road - at about 35mph and it happens again, twice in quick succession. Shat myself at that point, slowed right the fuck down, was almost home anyway.
Definitely not normal, but can I chalk it off as just a bit weird or do I regard it as sinister and likely to lead to fiery burning death?
