The annual average-ish UK low humidity is about 70% and high humidity in the low 90s% so I'd say a permanent 70% is quite good. A periodic wipe with an oily rag wouldn't do any harm anyway.

We've moved into a flat that comes with a shared storage area in the basement, it's permanently at 70% humidity, is that too high for bikes to live in?
