DFDS Liam Fox has another thing to answer for.
He ran against May, raised his profile as an Atlantic Bridge Euro-sceptic, inevitably failed to make the run-off*, and was rewarded with a plum Cabinet position.
Many of the no-hopers declaring a Run, hope to emulate this career, and pension enhancement.
(*Leadsom stood down so the Tory party membership did not get a chane to vote on 2016).
