Well, yeah, I have a track pump but which I use to inflate all my vehicle tyres but didn't think to spend that much time and effort pumping them up to seat the bead when I have a compressor sitting right next to me.
I admit it still doesn't quite compute in my head since I've been pumping up tyres for so long with the track pump but as soon as it came to seating the bead I reached for the compressor.

Motorcycle tyres need much much lower pressure than your bicycle, so yeah, get a track pump.
