So these wheels have got a story. I found them on the street. On my way home from training I spotted them on the side of the street. Rang the bell, they confirmed I can take them. The rear wheel had a missing spoke, that was the only issue. I checked them all over and couldnt find anything else wrong with them.
This was 2 years ago. Replaced the missing spoke, trued it enough so its kinda straight, and I used them maybe twice. Recently I took them to my LBS for truing, and then I left the UK for a month. Came back, and 2 nipples snapped on the rear wheel, just standing in my room.
My conclusion is that the nipples kept snapping, and the previous owner got rid of it because of that. Otherwise they're perfectly fine, brake tracks are barely marked.
Here's what you need to know:
-You will need to rebuild both front and rear with new nipples (although never had any issues with the front)
-The rear freehub is Shimano/Sram 10sp. It works both with a machined 11sp cassette, and the HG800 (?) cassette that is 11sp, but same overall width as 10sp
-They do make a "whoosh" sound
-The rear hub has an AL cassette body with some marks, so I only used it with cassettes that have an AL carry block (Whats that called?)
-As the rear wheel was tensioned, and then some spokes snapped it is now very much not straight
They will make a great wheelset for someone with the skills to rebuild them, but for me they're a financial write-off.
Asking for £60, that's what they "cost" me (the recent service). Front+Rear, no cassette, no lockring, no QR, no rim tape included. Will post more pictures later. Price is for wheelset.

You can find the original Planet-X writeup from when they released them here.
