I saw that the kayak's have gone up to £318 this morning.
makes me even more curious about what's actually going to turn up!also, as it's coming from china, will there be duty to pay? or because it's through amazon is the duty included?

Waterways licence, I think it's called. Estuaries and the sea + some rivers are exempt. Some reservoirs charge a premium (thanks Anglia Water...) or you have to join a registered club at the reservoir.

I only found out when I was warned by someone nearby that they have been asked for theirs in the last couple of weeks on the Great Ouse.

No idea. Paid with credit card. So some kind of recourse for mis-selling might be covered here, if so? (no mention in description or confirmation)

For £318, I'd hope so! Realise I also need a paddling licence for all the rivers round here...
