This was originally an SSXC bike set up with chunky lugged tyres, and painted a light metallic shade. It was repainted brown by Armourtex a few years ago, and is currently set up as a town bike - but could be adapted to a range of uses.
So - frame, forks and stem by the renowned independent builder Robin Mather. Fillet brazed, with a bilam sleeved effect on the seat tube - pictured, but honestly it would show better with wet paint rather than powdercoat.
Build is as follows:
Mather frameset, including custom Mather fillet brazed stem and Phil Wood adjustable track dropouts
Campagnolo Record headset w/ carbon top cap
Campagnolo seatpost
Random alloy bars - I thought they were Nitto but I can’t find any markings
Tektro brake levers
Avid cantilevers with titanium hardware
Phil Wood SS / fixed rear hub and Campagnolo high flange front, laced 36h to Mavic CXP33 rims
Campagnolo Chorus chainset and BB, set up with a single ring
Halo Clickster freewheel and Phil fixed cog
I will post more detailed measurements but this is one for the tall lads - I’m 6ft 3in with long legs. From recall the top tube is a little over 61cm effective. So really only those over 6ft have a chance of riding it comfortably.
Looking for £600 firm for everything as it stands. Would be willing to split frame / forks / stem for £400. Collection from W6 Hammersmith - would prefer not to post if possible.
The Brooks saddle pictured is not included (can include something generic if needed) although if you really want it we can discuss pricing. I have a range of other Nitto bars so if you wanted a different shape we can also discuss adding another pair.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
