Would strongly recommend 1440p even at 24", especially if you're only going to have one monitor. Depends how good your eyes are I suppose.
Pretty pleased with my Lenovo. They have a 32" 1440p for £179.99 at the moment. (Not the one I have so I've no idea whether it's any good)
(They also have a 24" and 27" 1440p for £200)

Budget allocation for a monitor is £170.
Feel like that might be pushing me towards 24"...although I can't help but feel 27" is the goldilocks of sizes. Especially as I don't actually need 4k.
What are people's thoughts?
