I have a nice F300 too, but it's been running slow since the last battery change strangely. I was planning to send it to electric-watches.co.uk but I see they only open for part of the year.

I forget how good this seiko is , it’s the real superstar here.Solar watches just seem such a great idea

Went to Glasgow for a night on my way home. I had no plans to buy a watch.
Had been wanting to try a 144, or at least see one in the flesh. Of course I ended up buying.

I also saw the 'Urushi Maki-E' Grand Seiko in person. The dial is incredible. I don't think photos do it justice.
Way out of reach, but a beautiful watch.

SKX GMT arrived. Even in the dour colour scheme it’s quite a fun watch.

The grey half of the bezel is basically a mirror. The bezel itself does not have a click - it’s a smooth friction action.

Also I may put it back on the jubilee as it’s really not too bad at all - solid end links!

Finally a decent grand seiko dial pic, it’s better than the usual ones they use.

When i shot for QP we always wanted to make the viewer/reader/watch fan want to pick the watch up and see/feel the quality.
Now it’s often 4-5 pieces plonked on a set which means postage stamped sized watches in print and you get no real idea of what they look like, but thats fashion/style mags rather than watch mags and a different audience.

Yeah, this is definitely better on the jubilee.
