Alleycat Races - London

Does anyone know where I can find london alleycat organisers? I would like to start joining them, however I have found that it is very difficult to find them!

If you know anyone that organises alleycat races then please could u put me in touch?

Only experienced couriers are allowed to race Alleycats. Its forbidden for members of the public to race. I have rode a number of them. Alleycats can be very dangerous and are considered an extreme sport. If you race, you will race against some very experienced couriers. The reason why the organisers are difficult to find is because the Alleycat race is extremely illegal and the organisers do not wish to be identified. Word of a race is spread word of mouth and only after the race can you show your alleycat race card to show it ever happened. Alleycats are not advertised in advance publicly. Ok?

Don't go down Oxford Street? Wigmore street is the same but faster?

They're advertised on Instagram all the time and anyone can sign up if they pay the entry fee....

I think the last Alleycat I did was in Budapest a few weeks before ECMC 2010. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, might come do this!
