Okay, I’ve not bought anything yet so open to suggestions
I really like 48/20 for tooling around town. 42/17 is slightly bigger, so I would also not get a 15.

OK, I'd also suggest fitting the second brake and drop bars. Toe clips and straps wouldn't hurt unless your idea of town errands involves nice shoes.
