• It's in Ealing
It was owned by our club president who rode it with his wife, mainly for touring. When he died, she gave it to the club, and it was used by the next president, who then lost his sight. So, for the last couple of years it's mainly been ridden by me with him as stoker.
I had thought it dated from the 90s, based on the components. But I've seen pictures of similar frames which are older, so I'm not entirely sure. Anyway frame is in good condition and it has been maintained to a decent standard to everything works.
We've not used it since the spring as he has got a new tandem, mainly because this one is too small for him at the back (he's 5`10).
Sizes: 56cm seat tubes, and 58 (front) / 56 (rear) cm top tubes (all centre to centre).
    £200?

  • Almost certainly an older F&F, is my guess, 50s perhaps, and looks like resprayed and some parts replaced in the 90s.

Claud Butler frames were made by Holdsworth after about ‘61 when he’d gone bust and sold the marque. The frame number will confirm its age, if you can see it.

GLWS, it’s lovely. Hope Xavier has fun with it.
