that is quite strange .. but not unfathomable
maybe as a last ditch attempt try e-tube-ing it yourself and see? Maybe a firmware update or a reset might do the trick? Worth trying a diff batt too. When you say drain, how quickly is it draining?
105 Di2 is a lost cause IMO. Unavailable, 12 speed and expensive.
