  • Also it's a longines so somehow the lug to lug will be HUGE.

  • I love the fact that Helson has become the (un)official watch of LFGSS, so much love for that brand. we should approach them to sponsor a few events not related to cycling of course. That would be too obvious.

My everyday watch search is done, I did consider Helson but opted for something different. I’ll post here once it has safely arrived..

  • no disrespect to anyone with one - but I really do not see the attraction of Helsons

  • I'll be the dissenting voice then, Helsons do nothing for me. :P

    Edit: ha, beaten to it

  • I thought Smiths/Timefactors were the unofficial!

  • I thought Seiko were

  • Wait it's not G-shock ?

  • Seiko divers are the official watch of watches.

Certainly quite a few Turtles on here.

  • Tudors are the official LFGSS Golf Club watch

  • It looks reasonable in the video that teddy baldasaresadadrsd did with Longines. Still think they look good.

  • Anyone know anywhere I could get an Accutron serviced for a vaguely reasonable cost? Last time I had it done I think I paid about £30, just got quoted £200 plus parts... not that surprised given age/weird electronic stuff, but it's more than I can justify spending. The day display is stuck but otherwise it's working fine.

  • I have a Tudor, Seiko and a Helson.
Not a fan of Timefactors, so won't get the gold membership.

    (Application for Golf Club pending)

  • I thought this was the GS9 club?

  • House!

  • So I was sufficiently tempted by a 20% off code to check out one of these. I was planning to send it back but I actually really like it and the white dial with dark hands and markers looks great IMHO. Very good size and shape and even the bracelet is better than I was expecting.

Will keep it and move one of my turtles on. Anyone interested in a mint condition SRP775 let me know…

  • Nice. Those batons have a pleasing chonk to them.

  • Nice! And the date window is acceptable.

  • Yeah, I think short of having proper applied markers and a framed date window like the vintage model it's based on (and given Seiko are committed to lume at 3 to keep their dive watches ISO compliant) this is about the best solution, other than no date. But then Seiko divers have always had dates.

  • really good looking watch

  • I did check this, due to its being 37mm, the lugs is not too bad for a longines at 47mm I think.

  • You got it! I thought it is Seiko most promising watch this year

  • Yeah… I was sworn off midrange Seikos, especially divers… It just does what it does really well.

Time to sell stuff (I always say that, but this time I really have to, especially because I think the SKX GMTs are also landing soon).

  • Looks good mann
