For the money this strikes me as a lot of bike. Would be fun blatting it around Epping on this.

It's a good bike and decent price. Made mincemeat of King Alfred's Way. I am selling it simply because my age/body is the weak link these days!!

It's a size too big for me, but regarding the KAW etc, is this the type of bike best suited for it?
Can't say I am convinced by gravel bikes and proper off road... -

The gear set provides easy service up the majority of inclines - for younger, less damaged, gazelles than me, most if not all inclines.
Wheels/tyres and front suspension are good at countering the ruts and other (wet or dry) ground conditions that KAW throws at you, while the value of its excellent hydraulic brakes cannot be underestimated riding KAW when the terrain is especially rutted.
Good luck KAWing. It is challenging and satisfying - but punishing at times. -

You ever travel up towards the Midlands?

Sometimes West Midlands yes, but not yet all the way on a bike.

Don't know if you drive up or not but if you ever head up in the car to the West Midlands and you still have this let me know.

Thank you, I will take your advice. I am a vintage gazelle.
Was thinking about a Bootzipper/ Frontier but it sounds like suspension is desirable..
