At first I thought the weird texture was some sort of road rash resistant slippery lining thing for crit racers. Which would have been interesting and gone somewhere towards justifying the price, but not. yawwn.

Yeah it’s for gels or wtvr. Neat solution. Sportful have been doing this with double pockets, but this cutaway looks more usable and a lot neater.

£200 for a short sleeve jersey though. Nice, but very pricey.

I think that's reflective of the rising costs of freight and materials rather than this specific jersey. I expect more new products to be priced like that. Tbf the prices of continuity lines have stayed the same for years whilst costs have only gone up.
